I’m interested to learn more…

A healthier digital childhood starts together.

Orbiri brings schools and families together around shared digital boundaries that work in everyday life.

The problem we're solving:

Parents are overwhelmed.

Schools are being asked to do more.

And children are growing up in an always-on digital world designed to keep them scrolling.

Governments are introducing stronger restrictions on smartphones. Orbiri helps communities make them work inside and outside the school gates, building habits to last into adult life.

What is Orbiri?

Orbiri is a parent-founded system that helps schools and families create shared digital boundaries across a community. Two simple apps - one for parents, one for children - organise apps and websites into Spaces such as School, Social Media, Messaging and Play, with shared, age-appropriate boundaries.

How does Orbiri work in practice?

Communities come together around shared boundaries. Orbiri works alongside your school’s phone policy, blocking distracting apps while keeping essential and school-approved apps available.

These boundaries continue beyond the school gate - helping children build a more balanced relationship with technology as they grow.

What makes Orbiri different?

🌐

Community-powered

Orbiri is not another parental control app as these work in isolation and require each parent to set up the rules themselves. Orbiri enables community coordination, which creates lasting effects by changing the norm for all children.

⚖️

Built for balance

Orbiri targets user behaviour rather than simply applying crude blocking. We aim to ensure all device usage is intentional, not compulsive or accidental, while our balanced boundaries help children enjoy technology without letting it take over.

🛡️

Privacy first

Orbiri manages app access and allowed websites, not content. We don’t read messages, or track personal app and web activity.
