How it works

Shared boundaries made simple.

One setup. Two apps. The day-to-day runs itself.

What is Orbiri?

Two simple apps - one for parents, one for children - automatically organise apps and websites into Spaces such as School, Social Media, Messaging and Play, with shared, age-appropriate boundaries.

Apps are completely hidden by default

Apps within a space disappear until the child deliberately chooses to open that space.

Access has a clear purpose

Each space brings together similar apps with age-appropriate opening times and daily limits.

Every session becomes intentional

Children see what they are opening, how much time they have and when the space will close.

Set it up simply by opting into your community. Orbiri takes care of the rest.

What problem does Orbiri solve?

When parents set limits, children see different rules among their friends, and schools deal with the impact of an non-uniform, unbalanced, always-on digital world outside the school gates.

The problem isn’t that parents aren’t trying. It’s that individual efforts can’t solve a collective problem. Orbiri brings whole communities together, so no one has to tackle it alone.

šŸ«

At school

Fewer digital distractions, with essential and approved apps still available.

šŸ

At home

Shared boundaries continue, reducing the daily negotiating and policing.

šŸ‘„

With friends

Children aren’t the only ones with limits, so peer pressure starts working differently.

🌿

As they grow

Boundaries adapt with age, helping children build greater independence around technology.

From parents fighting alone to communities moving together.

Different Apps. Different Rules.

That's what Orbiri Spaces are for. To change behaviour, different apps need different rules. Orbiri Spaces include:

Simple boundaries, without treating every app the same.

How Orbiri works with the community

Orbiri provides thoughtful defaults, shaped with input from schools, families and children. Once agreed, the technology applies those boundaries day to day. Everyone moves together, without any individual family having to manage it themselves.

What makes it work?

Children don’t hate limits. They hate being the only one with limits. When families move together, boundaries feel less like ā€œmy parents are too strictā€ and more like ā€œthis is just what we do.ā€ That’s when peer pressure can start working for you, not against you.

Privacy:

Orbiri manages access, not content. It doesn’t read messages or monitor what children are doing. Parents remain in charge of their family, while schools bring the wider community together. See our privacy policy for full details on this.

Boundaries without surveillance.
